Beauty Has Always Meant More to Me Than Just Makeup
Some of my earliest beauty memories are of watching my mom get ready for a night out — doing her hair, putting on her makeup and somehow standing a little taller when she was finished.
I was fascinated by that transformation, but not because she suddenly looked like someone different. She simply looked like herself — confident, beautiful and completely in her element.
I think that feeling is part of what drew me to this career in the first place, and all these years later, it’s still what I love most about what I do.
After college, I studied makeup and airbrush artistry in Toronto and began building a career that has now spanned more than 15 years. Along the way, I’ve worked across bridal, commercial, television and beauty, but weddings are where my heart really landed.
I genuinely love this work. I get to do what I dreamed of doing, and I never take that for granted. The women who trust me with these moments mean so much to me — especially my brides.
And if I’m being completely true to myself, I’m also a hopeless romantic. I love love. I love the excitement of a wedding morning, the stories behind each couple, the little emotional moments and getting to be part of a day that means so much to someone.
I really can’t imagine doing anything else.

More than 15 years behind a makeup brush has taught me that great artistry isn’t about knowing one beautiful look. It’s about knowing how to adapt.
Different skin. Different features. Different ages. Different comfort levels. Different lighting. Different personalities.
My professional experience has included work alongside teams and brands such as Bobbi Brown, Estée Lauder, La Mer, Revlon, Fisher-Price, New Era and The Shopping Channel.
As a licensed esthetician, skin is also central to the way I approach makeup. The finish we create begins before foundation ever touches your face.
Those years of experience allow me to walk into a wedding morning prepared not only to create beautiful makeup - but to solve problems calmly, adjust when necessary and help keep the morning moving.
Weddings Are Still My Favorite
After all these years, there is something incredibly special about being invited into someone’s wedding morning.
There is excitement everywhere. People are moving. Music is playing. Someone is looking for an earring. Someone else is already crying.
And then my bride sits down.
For a little while, everything gets quiet.
I get to help her feel taken care of before she steps into one of the biggest days of her life. That part never gets old.
You Should Recognize Yourself in the Mirror
I love beautiful makeup. But I never want your first reaction to be, “Wow, that’s a lot of makeup.” I want it to be, “Oh my God. I look amazing.”
